Málaga CF’s new official beer is celebrating its return to the club by looking back on their shared history, which dates back to the 1960s
Cervezas Victoria and Málaga CF have embarked on a new chapter together. Having become the club’s official beer for the coming seasons, the brand has chosen to mark this reunion with “Hemos vuelto” (We’re Back), a campaign that reflects on the historic relationship that linked the two organisations in the 1960s and connects it to the present day.
The campaign focuses on the people who have always been there: the fans. It is the Malaguistas themselves who drive the narrative of a shared history between two of the city’s icons, supporting the team through different eras and generations.
The advert features first-team players such as Chupe, Larrubia, Alfonso Herrero, Joaquín and Carlos Puga, alongside male and female fans who represent different ways of being a Málaga fan. This collective vision seeks to reflect the bond between the club and its supporters.
Furthermore, the campaign revives one of the most special elements from that first partnership: an original season ticket from the 1961–62 season, which highlighted the link between Victoria and the club. A small tribute to a relationship that was part of the city’s collective memory and which is now coming back to life.
Filmed at locations closely associated with Malaga CF, such as La Rosaleda, the historic Bodega Hermanos Madrid and some of the main meeting points for the team's fans, such as Fondo Sur 1904.
This new phase will also see Victoria join the men’s and women’s teams and lend its name to the historic pre-season tournament, which will now be known as the Costa del Sol Cervezas Victoria Tournament.
